-Jefferson is obviously far from 100%, and won't be next Saturday.

-We are now without our top 2 running backs (not like we knew how to use them anyway)

-Gary Crowton will likely still be calling the plays 6 days from today.

-Miles will spend all week trying to explain the complete collapse that took place last night.

-The players will have to relive the collapse of last night until they get to go home for Thanksgiving (I assume).

It appears that the only hope for a spark comes from it being Senior Day, but I just don't see that as being enough.

Please, someone talk me off the ledge here....but 7-9 the last two years in the SEC is very scurry to think about.

Looks like reality to me. And then to the peach bowl again. Two straight years of 8-5 will be tough pill to swallow for most fans.

Seems like you'll lose for every reason except for facing the SEC #1 offense

I am curious what LSU team shows up...We penciled in a W against OM and look where that got us...The players did too

For me 8-5 isn't really the issue. Sure its below what should expected of a program of this level. The thing is how that 8-5 is acheived, thats the disturbing thing.

Vandy and Auburn were the only SEC games that were never really in question.

That is concerning as shite.

Its not 8-5 that bothers me. Its how we got there. We have more talent than any team in sec except florida and dont know how to use it.

arky's on a roll, t4e and is suddenly playing for a really really nice bowl game ... they have their sights set on the cotton ... we, on the other, are in a slump and just made the capital one's job a whole lot harder ...

________________________________________________

Miles wins the Peach Bowl big; we are 9-4 (an improvement of the year before) with high hopes for the "D" being awesome (finally Montgomery and the other fine DT / DE recruits, the Jones-Losten gang, actual 4-star linebackers starting for us and all the core DBs back).

How we do with getting Seastruck may be very telling. If Les backs off on his "Crowton is doing a great job" comments when asked about hiring a separate QB coach, the same will stay the same for a while longer...

My concern for next year is the offensive line (nobody has said it, but we have not filled Herman Johnson's hole). With that void, what do we do for an OL if we can't also replace Ciron Black?

Its sad yall think we have no chance against Ar-kansas. Everyone said the players had quit after the la tech game, which wasnt the case. the players dont get wrapped up in the bullshite like the fans do. LSU will move the ball a lot easier against Ar-kansas than they did against ole miss. LSUs defense is good enough to slow down mallett.

Just because the fans have lost faith in the team doesnt mean the players have.

I'm not worried about the players losing faith in the team, but I don't see how they won't lose faith in their coaches.

It happened last year and it is happening again. I wish it wasn't, but I can't control it and I won't ignore it.
