I heard its only going to be shown in 3d.

This looks really good, and I am siked about this movie as a franchise, I think this movie may be something to look for as an early christmas.

I really don't get why this is the cool film to hate on these boards. Its set the highest possible bar possible for itself than any other film in history by claiming in a commercial to be "the greatest adventure movie of all time". And I think Cameron seriously believes this. This will be worth seeing.

True, think about it, the trailor is just probably a small portion of what this film is trying to point out, this movie is one of the movies that could actually hold the assumption of being one of the best action adventure movie of all time but we will have to wait and see.

Quotes like that are why people are criticizing this movie. It's getting way too much hype for a CGI remake of Ferngully or Dances With Wolves. There's nothing unique or particularly creative about the story. It's been done before, and the CGI looks terrible to me in the trailers. It looks like a cartoon or a PS3 game.

Personally I'm glad its coming out around Christmas, since if it wasn't released now, it would be released in the summer, and I am out of the country in asia last summer and the next.
