Not so sure about that...I feel much better about our chances next year with a junior QB, and a more experienced line (well, at least the center and two guards will be back)..
Two things.
1)NOTHING about the last two years indicates to me we can expect much from our OL with this staff.
2)Did you see the face of that QB after the game? He thinks Miles is a bigger idiot than I do.

OK, silly theory, but over the last 24 hours I've heard plenty, so here goes:
LSU Baseball NCs (before this year):
1991
1993
1996
1997
2000
LSU Sugar Bowl appearances:
2001
2003 (NC)
2006
2007 (NC)
2010?
Would a Sugar next season (BCSCG is in Arizona) be enough? Tebow is gone. Bama & Ole Miss are at home. JJ is a year older, most of the D is back.
Is a SEC CG appearance and a BCS at-large that unrealistic? Especially if Crowton is gone and Miles is coaching for his job?

It's not the 8-3 record guys, it's the coaching. We have no dicipline, no game plan, and we have a world of talent going to waste. JJ isn't the greatest, but he's still young and growing. Why not rely on the rest of the team a little more? Crowton may seem like the problem, but the Ole Miss game made Les look unprepared, soft, and he looked like a dumbass!
One more thing, he (LES) has yet to recruit a leader, and if he has, they don't lead! Hester, Steltz, Flynn, and Dorsey are all Nick's kids. I challeng someone to name a guy who has led this team since 07

JJ is no frickin brain surgeon either my friend. Kid has a ridiculous lack of situational awareness and takes sacks that he has no business taking.
I am in agreement with the general sentiment that I have lost major confidence in our coaching staff after watching the game Saturday. What happened was inexcusable for a coaching staff at a major program, being paid this kind of money. I would think a reduction in their pay is warranted, with selective changes being made at the end of the season. As no one knows what's the issue with the offense, the OC needs to go. Either he doesn't jibe with the HC, or he calls plays like a mad-man. Either way - he's toast.
FWIW, we will never - an no one else has - be a championship team if we can't control the line of scrimmage. We can have all of the skill studs we like on offense, but if our offensive line can't move anyone or protect, we're toast. Saturday, our offensive line was man-handled, and it's happened a lot this year. But that's the football reality.

Is there anyone at LSU that knows how to hire a football coach. Careful you may get what you wish for.

Chicken, I don't get it with the anti- Miles crowd. if Miles were to finish this season with 10 wins his accomplishments would be as follows:
1. Won National Championship -1 0f ONLY 3
2. Fastest coach in LSU history to 50 wins.
3. 4 10 or more wins in 4 of first 5 seasons
4. Winning percentage app. 70%
Only season he didn't win 10 games was season he dismissed QB (top 25 player in nation in HS)
No way in the world should you be on hot seat with a record like that. if he wins 8 games this year, then different but not 10 and maybe not 9.

BTW, The cat has now come out of the bag about Les' game coaching ability in such a dramatic, high profile way, that it WILL have an effect on recruiting. This has been Mile's biggest strength.
But after Saturday, you cannot hide this nationally televised catastophe from any HS player in the country.
When people start laughing you're toast...
