i see what you did there

Not really sure what I did......I was just making a simple statement. If there's some witty joke or pun in there, it was not intended.

playoff systems dont build new academic centers, practice facilities, or upgrade stadiums...

What builds new academic centers, practice facilities, etc. that would be left out in a playoff system?

they've have the same logic as teams 3, 4, 5, etc in the current system

How so? This would make it like NBA, NFL, etc. They don't bitch when they miss the playoffs; they just recognize that "we didn't play well enough to make the playoffs."

I think he was being sarcastic, teams even bitch when they get left out of march madness.

I'm not being sarcastic. Teams have a right to bitch about march madness because there's no clear cut guidelines; it's left up to humans to pick the teams.

Seriously?

Can I hear your football playoff plan that will not be left up to the humans?

Yes, a 19-11 team that was on the bubble and got left out of a shot for a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP has the right to bitch.

Thats a different beast in itself...in the NBA, there are 28 teams. Therefore everyone plays everyone atleast once and the playoff field is decided on records alone.

College football has 119 teams and it is impossible for everyone to play everyone so polls are needed to get an "accurate" ranking system.

Because of the human element in the polls, there will always be a disagreement somewhere down the road. Even if you had an 8 team playoff, the 9,10, and 11 ranked teams that likely have a similar record as the 7 and 8 seeds will cry.

Playoff system wont fix anything, just create room for more teams to complain.

So you think college football should use records ONLY for the playoffs then right??? That'll go over really well.
