So I'm finally getting a ps3 this weekend....

other than MW2, which is the only game other than NCAA2010 that I have played extensively, what game should i pick up with the extra cash that I have. Preferably a first person shooter game?

Haven't played it....But Uncharted2 seems to be another hot game.

God of War Collection is a MUST. You get God of War 1 and 2 for 40 bucks. 2 of the BEST games ever.

Uncharted 2, Fifa 10. What other games do you like? I like resistance series. Batman is cool. Metal gear solid. The god of war pack is out.

I recommend you hold off for one more week. I am going to get one on black friday but I am having trouble deciding which deal is better.

i recommend metal gear solid 4. IMO it's still the best game that ever came out for the ps3
i should add that you can get it for 29.99 new because it's one of the ps3 "greatest hits" games.

really?
The game was good.....amazing graphics.
But it was a let down to me. I was always a bug MGS fan and felt a little chinched by this one.
way too many cut scenes.

first off.. thanks for all the advice, i'll definately check out a lot of these games. I've played fifa and the first resistance and they are good so ill definately check those out again. does anyone know if that new zombie game that came out is any good? sorry i can't narrow it down anymore.

On that note, I did buy it today. The gameplay is now in HD, but the cutscenes were left the same. Pretty bad arse game, if you like hack 'n slashes. It also has a good storyline.

I still think if you are going to do uncharted 2, might as well finish the first one as well. you can get it used cheap, and its actually pretty damn good. not as good as the second, but good. batman arkham asylum is also great. right now i'm on dragon age origins, then after that i'll be getting into the God of War series.
