Joe Pa doesn't care about the wins record. I never liked Paterno until I read the SI story on him a few weeks back. Now I think the man can stay as coach however long he wants and anybody who doesn't like him is just mis-informed.

Joe Pa seems like one of those old guys that believes the minute he quits doing the job he has loved for decades, he would die. There are a lot of older men that believe this. If he wants to keep going, I say more power to him. He's still running a successful program.
