so if the team goes 9-3 or 10-2, you think Les should be fired?
No, I've never said he should be fired, I've said he needs to improve game to game, make changes on the fly, use the talent we have wisely, and show some versatility and creativity.

i can understand that. the offensive line hasn't shown much (if any) improvement this year. you can blame a lot of the offensive problems on the offensive line. i'm on the fence as to whether or not studrawa (sp) should return. having said that, our HC is supposed to be a offensive line guru. like i posted earlier, i wonder if Les spent too much time assiting with the defensive line druing the offseason.

Didn't most sane fans predict a 9-3 record before the season started? We should end up there or better. If you're one of the freaking out, Miles is-a-terrible-coach-crowd, I question your general football knowledge, and fart in your general direction.

That's true.

I didn't read it. I was just making a statement.

Betting lines have nothing to do with picking who is the better team. They are trying to get even money spread across the action and OM gets points for playing at home.

Miles' won'/loss record obviously took a hit with the expulsion of R.P., but in the long run, it will turn out to be the best thing for Miles and Tiger Football.

Since giving RP the boot, we have had virtually no off the field problems--good move by Les.

The only hit we are taking for R.P.'s expulsion is to our recrutiing program--thanks to the NegaTiger Jhad against Miles and Crowton.

fwiw i'm not a miles basher. if we go 8-4 i will be concerned about the future of the program, but you won't see me bashing him. i don't think we go 8-4 though.

Remember when LSU went 10-1, then lost in the SEC Championship game and fell all the way to the Peach Bowl. That happened because the Cotton Bowl wanted Alabama and other Bowls didn't respect Les Miles.

The bowl formerly known as Citrus habitually passes on the loser of the SECCG. The bowl in Tampa has refused to invite an SEC West team since the '96 season. The Cotton Bowl chose Bama over LSU since the Tide had not played there in 20+ yrs but LSU had played there 3 yrs previously. So don't blame Miles for LSU falling to the Peach Bowl.

We are a top 10 team that is an underdog to an unranked team, and I heard the line was moving up. That means that the people that make a living off of knowing sports are betting that an unranked team is better than a top 10 team

You truly don't understand betting lines. The line is NOT made to predict how much a team will win by. It is set in the hope of getting an equal amount of money bet on each team.
