Can anything top this??? This being going for 4th and 2 on your own what, 29 or 30 yard line, with the other team out of timeouts?

Maybe one of the worst decisions by a coach, but what Leon Lett did was 10 times worse

This wasn't Barney Fife or Curley Hallman - this was Mr Badass Bill Belichick, NFL guru.

Every fricking 6th grader with a Playstation, punts in that situation.

I think Faulk did well to come down with the ball - that wasn't KF's fault - hell that was good defense on him.

are you kidding, dude that was a nfl coach who is known as the best in the game making a call that was flat out wrong, no way to spin it.

As much as I wanted the Saints to be the only undefeated team, as much as I dislike the Manning family for their hatred of LSU, it was fun seeing Mr. Genius screw up badly.

Terrible only because the sideline ref fricked the Patriots. It looks like a retarded decision because it "failed" (my arse), but they had to have seen something in the defense and knew they could get two. They had it, and it was stolen.

Don't you think the time honored traditional method of punting the ball 50 yards or so down field to the team without timeouts, would have been a more clever play?

Yeah, that was bad. I can only imagine the heat that say, Les Miles, would get for making such a call. The ranting would be endless.

Still Adam, he had a Colt all over him trying to pry the ball out - I don't fault Falk other than he might have ran his route and extra yard downfield - why cut it close.

On the other hand why not fricking punt the ball - lol. Man this will be the sports story all day monday. Around the horn , Rome is burning, PTI - they will all be on BB for that - and rightfully so.

bullshite. The call on the field by the ref was correct. No control of the ball until he came down short of the first down. Easy call.

i disagree man, this is the nfl. he could have raped him, the fact is the pats were not gonna get that call. you cannot disguise ignorance and belichick was ignorant.

Dude we are not disagreeing - as the subject of the thread suggests - unless you are talking to someone else. This is Belichicky's Albatross and no one else.
