and LSU wins out, who goes the the Sugar?

And more importantly, as an LSU fan, would you rather see:

1. LSU beat TCU in the Sugar

OR

2. Alabama lose to TCU in the Sugar

FWIW, if that happens, I believe LSU goes to the Sugar. But quite honestly, I'd rather play Penn State in Orlando or Oklahoma State in Dallas than TCU in New Orleans. And FWIW, I'd love seeing TCU beat Bama.

Assuming we win out and Bama loses out (as you've described) Deke mentioned on WWL today that LSU would be higher ranked and would get the BCS bid.

Alabama is guaranteed not to lose until their meeting with Florida. Remember, they have the SEC officials on their side *whether they paid them off already or not.

News Alert: Which team pays off the refs for the Alabama-Florida game is still being discussed.

I think it's a no-brainer LSU would be ranked higher than Bama if they indeed lost to Auburn and Florida(although that means nothing really in the BCS selection process).

I actually think LSU would be ranked higher than Bama if they simply lost to Auburn and the loss to Florida would drop them further down.

Hey, don't discount Mississippi State! Maybe they'll beat the filthy toothless gumps this weekend.

I don't care who you are, you're a pathetic fan if you'd choose option 2.

both florida and bama losing in the same week would never happen, no matter what dimension you live in.

and yes i am taling about the refs for the 1111100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 time.

Whoever's higher ranked means nothing, as long as both are eligible.

It would be interesting, for a few reasons:

1. Bama beat LSU head to head
2. Bama would sell more hotels in NOLA

The TV revenue would probably be a wash, I'd imagine both would be similar.

However, for LSU:

1. They'd be on a much better end of the season roll than Bama
2. The Bama LSU game had controversy
3. Bama went to the Sugar just last year

I could see it going either way.

Given the options, I agree. But it's a little more complex than just those two options.

playing TCU in New Orleans makes me yawn. Playing Penn State in Orlando is intriguing, as well as Okie State in the first ever Cotton Bowl at the new Cowboys Stadium.

True. However, you're also assuming Bama would lose to TCU. What if they win?
