Anybody on here seen this kid play? Rumor has it that Mississippi State is close to offering him, and he said in an article if State offered him, he would commit on the spot. He is 6'5" 270 and plays for one of the top HS programs in Louisiana just curious why his offer list is less than impressive offer list (only Louisiana Monroe)

Heard very little about him. Either he has limited ability, is a diamond in the rough, or simply fell through the cracks/got lost in the shuffle.

you don't fall thru the cracks playing for WM. I would bet he was evaluated and passed on.

Grades and attitude are the problem. He is an absolute beast of a player. Probably in the top 3 of all o-linemen that I have seen play (shows will tell you the same thing). That includes whitworth and rodney reed. He is mean as hell, has tremendous feet, and a great motor.

If he had his grades in order and his attitude straight, he'd have big time offers. Not sure that he'll ever play a down in college. But if the coach at whatever school he chooses can settle him down, he'll be dominant

He's settled down some over the year, but at first...Seemed like he got atleast one personal foul call a game. He pushed a ref in either the jamboree or the scrimmage at ULM, can't remember which. Ref had his hands on his chest breaking up a pile after a fumble and Day pushed his arm off, ref stumbled. He's also had a pulled hamstring for much of the year which has effected his play. Kid is a legit D1 prospect though if he would just settle the frick down.

Mark Snyder wasn't from WM, he was from Brother Martin. I'll find some pics of Day.

Didn't Snyder commit before he actually went to WM?

Watched this kid play alot this year. Great pass blocker with good feet. He is a devastating run blocker, blocking his man 10-15 yards down field. You can tell late in the game, the opposing d- lineman does not want to be lined up against him.

Dillon is probably the BEST offensive lineman WM has ever had. He does things to defensive ends that make you cringe. One of the other lineman from WM (Wayne Hendricks) told me that Dillon averages around 14 pancakes per game. That is just rediculous.

Classroom wise he needs some work. I was just informed he scored a 19 on his ACT so I think if he meets the GPA requirements he will be eligible.

He is a FREAK athlete. And if he qualifies he will be an ANIMAL at MSU,

If WM makes it to the dome this year here are some players to watch.

Jordan Allen 99
Chuck Hunter 98
THE ENTIRE WM OLINE!!! This includes:
Dillon Day 65
Andrew Bryan 68
Garret Wilkerson 64
Dylan Stevens 74
Wayne Hendricks 69

They are MASSIVE!!!

I very strongly doubt that.

Idk I saw Whitworth and Reed play ALOT and neither of them dominated the line of scrimmage like Dillon does.

FWIW Im not saying Dillon will be better than Andrew thats just crazy talk there but at the highschool level. I have not seen a more dominant lineman in WM history.

I go back to the Neville game and I just remember all the talk to how the matchup of number 92 for neville and 65 for WM would be b/c both players were large. Dillon mauled 92 all game long.

Who wins when Day & Allen go against each other in full speed drills?
