He could have been one of the best RBs in franchise history of the Saints would have handled him right.

River City Relay for me. A freaking extra point

The Vikings blowout in the playoffs. I was devestated. All my friends gave me shite at school Monday because I was the only kid who openly pulled for the Saints. Everyone else was on the LSU bandwagon.

2. Playoff losses, especially the one to the Falcons.
3. Big Ben

Hey what about giving the Browns there first win since they reformed on a last play hail mary - that was a hard one to swallow. What was that 98?
A good friend of mine was standing on the field by the pylon where the catch happened. He is the one throwing his hands in the air and falling to the ground. He was walking to the locker room for post game interviews and just happened to be in that spot to showcase his "objective" journalistic skills.

offseason moves...
Trading two mid first round draft picks to get Jonathon Sullivan. Passing Eddie George to get Alex Molden
oh yeah and dumping Jim Everett for Heath Shuler

should have added that as my #2, esp the actual draft. I was at the draft when they picked Sullivan. Me, and one other saints fan were they only 2 people in the theatre making noise and talking trash before the pick. Then, the saints take Sullivan, and the entire place laughed, yelled, and pointed at us. Yeah, it sucked. Hard.

if not, then how bout the ridiculous play on the kickoff vs jacksonville where we tossed it around about 40 times and actually scored! only to miss the pat..
i started watching the game about 5 minutes before this. wow, saints. wow. youve come a ways...

Here's a question for ya'll. If 2005 would have ended up 7-9 or 8-8, would be Saints be where they are now?? I don't think so.

The Saints 2001 implosion. They were 9-4 and only needed a one win in their last three games to make the playoffs. Well they lose out to finish 9-7, with losses at home to the 3-10 Vikings (where they broke out the new gold unis), the 1-13 Bengals, and the 6-9 Panthers at home the final week of the season.
I still have the Sunday newspaper the day of the Bengals game and it says, "Saints say: time to put up or shutup... The playoffs draw near." Ouch.
This was turrible. Of course the Bears loss in the NFC champ still stings. The River City relay was bad. Trading the whole draft for Ricky. Also, all the all the other draft blunders - Alex Molden, Sullivan, ETC. So many painful memories. Starting 0-4 coming off the NFC champ game, sucked. Jason David.

I went to two of the Saints games in Tiger Stadium that year. I think myself and about 15 other people can actually say that.
You'd have never known there was a game on campus. Reminded me of the end of the Hallman era. I was actually able to park at Coates and walk over to TS.

yep. I got to watch the first two playoff games, while skiing in MT/ID. Then, the NFC-CG we sat in a bar in Missoula, and the only person in there was a Bears fan. It was such a let-down after a great ski/FB stint!

i remember sitting in TS during an LSU-USM game (w/ Hallman as OUR couch), and you could roam around freely, talking in a normal inside voice with no problem. man, that's f'ed up.

+1
Also like to add 1999 Saints Bears. If I remember correctly up 10-0 at the 2 minute warning and go on to lose 14-10
