Peterson pick was one of the worst replayed calls in the history of organized football.
You know, I think I will agree. Worst replay ruling I have ever ever seen.
I can easily see how it was a very difficult call to make on the field. I still think the official had a good look and with the divot, and the lack of a bobble by Peterson, the play should have been ruled an Int. on the field to be reviewed. But ill give em a break. It was close.
The replay however was down right wrong. Just blatantly wrong. It wasnt even close on the replay. That left foot was in bounds with green between his foot and the white line. With multiple camera views I just dont see how they came up with that decision.
I wonder, how many camera views does the replay official have at his disposal. Does he see every replay we see on tv?

Supposedly, yes.

Easy....when you realize the left foot has no bearing on the ruling. He did not demonstrate control and possession when the left foot was down. The issue is whether the right foot touched the sideline. People have posted a lot of videos of the play, but none show "green" between the sidelines and his shoe. THAT is indisputable evidence.

I don't know if we would have scored after the int, but I wish we had had the opportunity.

BS, the official on the field should have got it right. He is paid well to get the call right. Simply, its his job. He gets no pass from me. He was in position and should have seen the call correctly. Never should have gone "upstairs". What happen upstairs was a crime against all who paid to see these great athletes from both schools who deserve to win or lose on their own ability.
