I am sick of the excuses Tiger fans come up with. Yes, we were the victim of a huge officials error, but Alabama is better. We have no discipline and our players are soft. They adjusted to everything we had success with earlier in the game and they played tougher. Crowton has taken us a far as he can on offense and our players need to take some pride in this team. Expect this trend to continue.

The trend of winning 10+ games in a season? That one?

I disagree that Alabama is better. Losing Jefferson, Scott, and Peterson in the third quarter killed us. I think we win that game without those injuries.

Being 7-7 in your last 14 SEC games is a valid concern, imv. And Miss State was controlling the game, late. Could easily be worse.

The next two are huge.

I don't think anyone would be bitching if the players gave it their all and played to their potential. Unfortunately, they aren't even close. They didn't put themselves in a position to win big which makes it possible for other factors to come into play.

I agree that we should be playing for SEC and NC titles, but that won't happen every year. I said 10-2 and that is where we should finish. We have two new o lineman, a new qb mostly and lost a ton on the defense. Also all new coaches on the defense.

What I would do. I would get rid of Crowton and get an offensive coach that runs a pro style offense-run the ball and use play action. I am not a fan of the spread offenses. If you can run the ball and stop the run, you will be very successful. Our team is built to be a running offense first and pass second, if we have the o line. Regardless, if you don't have an oline, then no offense will work. We need to run and pass block much better. I say keep the RB, WR coaches and get rid of Crowton and the O line coach.

How about 10 + winning seasons with SEC hardware to follow. I know it won't be every year but have higher standards!

What trend would that be sonnyboy? Assinine posts from stupid pieces of shite like you? You and the rest of your ilk would have been here bitching about something had LSU WON the damn game. Go crawl back into whatever putird hole birthed you.

Great goal! A certain team to the east has yet to accomplish that this decade.

So you call offsides/false start penalties playing to their potential 9 games into the season? Not knowing where to line up and having to waste timeouts playing to their potential? Having top 5 recruiting classes and still having one of the lowest ranked offenses in the nation/SEC playing to their potential? Either our recruiting sucks or our coaching sucks. Something doesn't add up.
