deli meats

where do you get your sammich meat from. i usually get manda roast beef and manda cajun turkey. (they no longer sell cajun roast beef at albertsons) i saw they sell boars head meat at maxwells, is this stuff worth a try? thoughts..

I go to the deli at Wallmarks and get mine sliced up while watching!

Boar's Head is pretty good, I get the roast beef/turkey that's roasted in the store at HEB.
Here's a little life lesson:
Never buy meat of any kind from Walmart.

I like Thuman's. Quality meats. Not that nasty a$$ Manda's.

I buy Thumann's at Matherne's. Very high quality IMO. The roast beef is great.

Chisesi products are extremely well made, their hams are comparable to much more expensive products. Boar's Head is the benchmark. I buy a lot of different products, depending on sales and what is available, except Manda's, that is the low end.

When I lived in Texas, I got Boar's Head Honey Turkey all of the time from Kroger. I've only seen it at Maxwells & Calandro's (on Perkins- not sure about Gov't) & usually try to make a stop there to get it. In my opinion, very worth it. I'll pay almost the same for something at Wal-Mart / Target.
