Tim Brando also said that if Miles leaves, Nick will get the first phone call. Carville agreed.

If Nick came back he'd be a damned legend. Mostly because all of the gumps would slit their wrists at the same time.

Saban helped take our program to the next level and for that I'm grateful. He's a helluva coach, but I don't want him back. I just want him gone from Bama. The West is getting entirely too competitive. By the time we finish beating up on each other, there's not much left in the tank for bowl games, compared to some of these other cremepuff conferences.

If Miles leaves, we go after Peterson or Gruden....but Miles is not leaving unless we run him off

miles' stock reached its apex in 2007 here ... unless we run the table miraculously and win it again this year his window of opportunity is closed ...

Why do so many people think Saban gets one rip about LSU and would remotely consider returning to Baton Rouge ?

Look, more power to Nick for taking the Miami money and I like Miles 10x more than I ever liked Saban, but every year he flirted with some NFL job or Notre Dame in 2001. LSU signed his paycheck. He worked hard at LSU and earned his paycheck, but he never seemed enthralled with LSU to me. Maybe his wife and daughter, but not him.

Forgive my ignorance.......why would Miles leave? He has won a National Title and we are a much improved team this year. Why is this even in question today?
