Went there today for lunch and had the Brooklyn Bomber on Sundried Tomato. The bagel was a lot smaller than usual and they only gave me 3 or 4 bagel chips. Does anyone know if they are trying to cut cost or something? If so I dont approve!!!!!!!

Yeah they seem to be getting smaller and that lady can be rude a lot of the times(Bagel Nazi). A couple of months ago I placed a pick up order and when I got there I thought it would be nice to pick up a couple of fresh bagel's for my wife as a surprise. I tell the Lady I am there to pick up an order and I wanted to add a dozen bagels to my order. She looks at me and says well we will do it this time but next time if you don't request on the phone then we can't do it for you. WTF I didn't think about it till I stood in line and looked at them.

I noticed a few less bagel chips last time, but don't recall the bagel size. I knew the first two owners, but not this one. Asian girl that took my order the other day said she was the owner and was very nice. A lot of places will cut back if they notice food uneaten on a regular basis, such as the bagel chips.

so there is new ownership? thats news to me. I typically dont pay attention to the people working there to say if they were the same people or not.

I love great bagels. Like pizza dough, it is hard to duplicate outside of NYC because of the water.

the asians have owned that one for many, many years now ...the asian girl is actually very nice girl .... i first noticed the cut back on the bagel chips about 2 years ago ....nothing new ... just cost savings I suppose .... i love those things ...the brooklyn bomber is one of my all time favorite sandwiches ...i either get it on an everything, sesame, or cheese bagel .... i love it ... I've probably been to the one on college over 100 times....went for the fist time in a few years recently, places was disgusting (food was still good though !)

Every time I've ever gone to NY Bagel, I've had a good experience. Made a to go order last week, and they couldn't have been nicer. I noticed the decreased amount of bagel chips, but I usually threw half of them away anyway, didn't bother me that there were less. Besides, it made it easier to spread out the usage of all my cream cheese.
