my favorite burger recipe is as follows:
1. Call Mason's Grill
2. Order a cheeseburger
3. Go pick it up
4. Enjoy the hell out of it
5. Dont try to duplicate the recipe, its imposible
Sorry for the sarcasm. Diets make me grumpy!!!

The president of the company that I work for's name is michael Scott. Also I went to highschool with a guy names Michael Scott. Pretty common name but hilarious every time I see it on a company memo.

so there is new ownership? thats news to me. I typically dont pay attention to the people working there to say if they were the same people or not.
New York Bagel on Jefferson

Went there today for lunch and had the Brooklyn Bomber on Sundried Tomato. The bagel was a lot smaller than usual and they only gave me 3 or 4 bagel chips. Does anyone know if they are trying to cut cost or something? If so I dont approve!!!!!!!

I was there on Saturday. Asked the bartender when do they plan on opening for lunch. I kind of expected a "sorry but we are only open for dinner" response but suprisingly she said "we will be opening for lunch in a few weeks" :nana:
Everything I have had from there has been amazing!

re: The Melting Pot
Posted by DrKennethNoisewater on 9/25/09 at 2:09 pm to Y.A. Tittle
No I was just saying if you are used to very flavorful foods (spicy boiled crawfish vs lobster boiled in plain water) this might not be the place for you since there isnt much flavor to the stock that you cook the food in.
re: Anyone ever cook a pizza on a BBQ Pit/Grill?
Posted by DrKennethNoisewater on 9/25/09 at 2:07 pm to coloradoBengal
oh yeah Pizza on the grill is awesome. Remember to pre-cook that crust though and get the coals as far from the pizza as you can. My grill lets me raise or lower the coals but if yours doesnt then make the fire on one side and put the pizza on the other size and be sure to rotate it.

If you are from the south expect less than satisfactory taste and a really big bill. Totally not worth it IMO. Bring home a chunk of raw meat or shrimp from Winn Dixie and cook it on your grill. You'll get much better results.
But give the place a try for yourself and let us know what you think.
