Someone needs to sit that kid down and tell him he is not at USC anymore.

Where did he make this assertion?

He said it to a reporter...it was talked about during a break of the Saints/Dolphins game. Replayed tonight

he said in terms of his future. not exactly this year. bush also said he was his biggest critic.

It's definitely possible. Bush is the type of guy who can score 20-25 TDs in a year. He is a threat to score every time he touches it. It's unlikely, but possible.

i also just heard this.. It was on nfl network... well actually on some kind of radio show..
He basically was just saying that he is his worst critic, and that he gets more down on himself after a negative yardage play than anyone else does.
And he also said that the saints have the potential to go undefeated.
Then he said that he believes he will be a mvp one day..
I am glad he has confidence... i dont know that it will ever happen, but i think that it is a good thing he believes in himself..
hell i wouldnt complain if he had a good enough year to get one

Goals are good, are they not? He'll never win one on this team, regardless of how much he may progresses from this season to the next.

FWIW...I believe Bush is a VERY valuable player when he plays like Ik he can. Like the beggining of last year, he was doing great. If he could get back to that form, he is very valuable. NFL MVP is a little much, but he can definitly be a valuable asset if he learns to stop being a pussC and run like a man. When/If he does that, he will shine.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE for a guy to believe in himself.

Would you rather him not aspire to be an MVP?

Brees can say he would like to be NFL MVP he can back it up.....Reggie has done "nothing" even close so far to back this up.
Just was told how great he was for too long playing for a good USC team that did not play anyone. When they did (Texas) Bush did nothing from the RB position, just like he does nothing now.
Utility backs and returners do not win the NFL MVP....period.
So do you believe everyone on the team should say this....help their confidence?

he always possesses potential to lead the nfc in touchdowns.. you saw it last season. who knows. but he's much more of a team player this season and is being utilized less.. which he doesn't have to be forced. he is tremendous on 3rd down conversions and excellent on pass protection. i think reggie says all the right things. i'm probably his biggest supporter on here tho.

He led through 5 games.......TD's without rushing yards does not win the MVP, just ask Brian Westbrook.
