Home and away in one category. Just home in another. What you got?
Best I've heard so far is 60 straight, home and away. Pretty stout!
Thanks. I'll hang up and listen.

I really don't go to away games much anymore. It's tough with kids. But I haven't missed a home game since my freshman year in 1984. Funny thing is, prior to attending LSU, I only saw one game live in Tiger Stadium, against Rice in the mid 1970's.

I remember my first game in Tiger Stadium. I was three in 1985. I've missed 6 Home games since I was three. I've been to every SEC stadium except in Starksville and Nashville. Been to the last 7 bowl games too. Damn the memories.

Me either. Except, I wasn't a freshman then. I was 6. Haven't missed one since.

I haven't missed a home game since Bama in November of '96. That is the only game I've missed since the beginning of the '90 season.
I've missed 6 away games since the beginning of the '01 season, made every game in '03, '07, and have made every game this season. My 2 favorite away game moments in person are probably the Bluegrass miracle and going on the field after, and the come from behind win in Tempe after Katrina.
Since the '06 Florida game, I've made every game except Arkansas of last year.

Ibegan in 1962 as an usher with the Boy Scouts and did not miss a home game until my last year with the Scouts as a Scout Master in 1977. Enjoyed every game I went to got to see a lot of things that ordinary fan does not get to see. We had to be there when they opened the Stadium. Also got to see all the Traditions that make a home game at LSU great. Over the years I have been to every Stadium in the Conference except USCe, but I have been to Clemson and that death Valley is more death for the home fans than for the visiting teams and their fans. Enjoyed the trip and had a great time. Of all the Stadiums LSU has the most loyal and rabid fans and there is no atmosphere that matches a night game in Tiger Stadium. During my fifteen years I made every game which if not mistaken equals 98 games that is an average of 6.5 a year. I had put in for season tickets and did not start getting my tickets until 2 years later and that is when I started traveling with the team and made a total 53 games in a row including bowl games and then the total of just home games ended at 127 these totals are in succession and can not be added to the 53 games if I could count all the games including the road trips I did not make I would have in the nature of 225 to 250 games without missing a weekend. Because I did go to the games just could not get tickets into the games but watched from outside the Stadiums on TV when I could and listened to the radio for the most part. It was all worth it not too many can say they went to that many games without missing any.
All I say is I love my Tigers and would not trade them for any other team in the country.

That's an incredible streak! We'd love to have something like that in the LSU fan book we're compiling. If it's ok with you if we publish your story, please get in touch with us either through www.DownSetGeaux.com or our email address at tigertailgating@gmail.com.
All of these streaks are amazing!

I've had season tickets since 98 but lived out of town for 8 years. Still made most of the home games. Now that I'm back in Baton Rouge, my consecutive streak is a measly 13 games. Looking forward to adding many years to that number!

Haven't missed a home game since Alabama in 2002. Divorces suck.

I would be happy to. I'll be in touch soon.
My time of going to the games now have gone because I am now disabled and not able to get around like I want to and used to. I get to go to some of the games every now and then. It is hard to get tickets now especially since I gave mine up to my brother and his son so they could go. Even though I had tickets for about 14 to 15 years it is hard to find them so I advise those who have tickets do whatever you can so that you do not loose them for once you do they are gone forever. My seats were in the lower South right under the overhang I believe it was called section 43 back then, but I started in the upper I believe U60 I think or something like that can't remember I lost them in 1994 a lot of people lost there seats back then. But I have some great memories and I just hope this younger generation of Tiger fans do not loose what we had all these years. What scares me the most is that the fans now do not support the Tigers with the energy and passion like we all did from start to finish of every game no matter who we played and that is what is missing now at the Stadium all those empty seats that could be filled with fans that love their Tigers but can not afford the ticket prices. But still once a Tiger always a Tiger!

I have to say, I have a lot of respect for you. I would love to go to every game if it were within my means, but I have a pretty demanding job that prevents me from attending away games.
