Cause he sucks! I'm more upset that Ms. BoaVista seems to be on the way out!

I've never liked him that much. I won't miss him.

Didn't see a thread on it, but how ridiculous was the beach volleyball murder episode a few weeks ago? This show is always absurd, but I think with that case they took it to a new level.

I missed that one. I only catch about every other one. It used to be must see TV for me and my wife, but it has really gotten absurd. I mean, it always was, but I guess I have just had enough of it.

And you know the writers revel in it. Surely they know how "Horatio" is made fun of all the time for his over the top mannerisms.

That episode was hilarious. The guy sets up a lightning rod and cable under the sand, knowing it's going to be hit by lightning in the middle of a gorgeous day and shock the 3 guys that were sleeping with his wife. That guy is brilliant.

You need to watch the first episode of this new season. It was a prequel detailing how Horatio became HORATIO. It was AWESOME!!!

Yeah that was it. Of course lightning was going to strike that exact spot. That's easy to predict.

Also, nobody else at this volleyball tournament heard lightning strike like 100 yards behind them? Nobody else was around the lifeguard tower that the lightning struck and was also hit?

And the one guy was spared because he was wearing socks. nevermind that he's covered in sand from playing beach volleyball, he had socks on. But that guy's ability to time the lightning strike was the most genius part of it all.

Ah yes, I forgot about the completely non-conductive rubber water socks (or whatever they are called) that guy was wearing. He could get struck by lightning in those things and would be golden

I almost started a thread about that murder. BY FAR, the most absurd murder plot I have ever seen on TV for all the reasons already mentioned.

One of my favorite Miami moments was when the fuel truck was being driven by terrorists to blow up a chemical plant that would have wiped out Miami. They don't send the seals, nor do they scramble f-16's. Rather, they send Haratio with a sniper rifle.

Loved it. SWAT team galore all around and Horatio takes the shot. Of course

He is leaving CSI to pursue other things... Really didn't give a great explanation why he is leaving...

He wanted a pair of sunglasses to deepen his character and the producers said no.

Just watched last week's episode with the E-coli stuff and this one ranks up there in the most ridiculous cases they have ever investigated. Just the premise that they believe this girl was murdered and launch an investigation into it was bad enough. Then add to the fact that:

1) Nobody else at that same restaurant apparently ate lettuce that night.
2) Who the f**k vomits and shits uncontrollably for a week and doesn't go to the doctor?
3) FDA would be investigating this. Not CSI
4) The scene where they discover the bacteria in the corn is what killed the boy is beyond ridiculous. These people are apparently the smartest on the planet

Why do I watch this show? It was always ridiculous but now it is getting even worse and I didn't know that was possible.

I watch it bc of the "ridiculousness". That and H's cool persona

Its amazing how CSI and CSI:Miami are polar opposites. One is fairly realistic and the other is crazy over the top!!
