Jacobs went to Coffeyville Community College and went to Auburn becuse he thought Carnell Williams would be leaving for the NFL as a Junior. When Carnell didn't leave he transfered to Northern Illinois.
He was a five star JUCO player that was interested in LSU, LINK but went to Auburn so I kind of paid attention to him there. He was really good at Auburn, but barried on the depth chart.
Stats at Auburn:
That's 6.1 yards per carry. I always thought he was the best of him, C. Williams and Ronnie Brown, they just rarely played him. Carnell Williams was way overhyped at Auburn IMO.

Wrong he transferred from Auburn to Southern Illinois home of the Salukis

had it not been for the injuries carnell would have had a fine career. He's a better overall back than jacobs
