Sorry to appear positive on this board, byt TOSU and VT were assumed ahead of us when we were projected at BCS #7, unless Iowa jumps us which they probably should. We are still in a position to win the National Championship with a run through the next few games and the SEC ship.

Heck, why not, Bama showed its offense is terrible too tonight.

If we win out we go to NC. I seriously think it will come down to texas vs lsu/florida. Winner of SECC

Difference is that Bama's problem isn't on the OL, just at QB. LSU's is QB and OL which pretty much screws both our passing and rushing attack.

LSU can improve, but Gary Crowton and Coach Studrawa should be coaching to keep their jobs the rest of this season, I am sorry.

Need to get the offense on track before we talk about running the table.

McElroy was getting popped all night. A bad QB makes any OL look bad. The OL can only hold on for so long.

I predict that the LSU/Alabama and LSU/Ole Miss games will be two of the ugliest games college football has ever seen. Hopefully LSU can muster out just enough to take those.

Wish our offense was "terrible" enough to run for 264 yards.

Ingram gaining 247 yards on the ground isn't too terrible in my opionion. McElroy, well he is another story.

Bama has dominated teams statistically this year, but the scores don't reflect it. They seem to resort to a lot of FG's

WOW!!

How do you come to that conclusion after watching LSU's offense after 6 games?

Are we going to magically fix all of our problems and beat Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Arkansas?

Damn, that's confidence, lol.

I think most of us would just like to see our Tigers play a good game for once. Until that happens, the national argument isn't relevant.

If is a big word, but IF we do win out then yes we should be in the NC. Hell, even a two loss team in the SEC is better than some of the top ten in the country..

Actually Ohio State was not projected ahead of us in the BCS standings anyway.

So the only team that lost ahead of us was VaTech.... but there's a good possibility that Iowa hops us, leaving us at #7

Still a great spot to be in midway through the season. Everything is certainly still in front of us and "on the table."

ESPN Brad Edward's Projection (Last Week)

FWIW, I still think it's ridiculous that anyone would put Boise State in the Top 10. They're barely a Top 25 team IMO.
