delete if german, but this is the first decent clip i've seen of this, even though it's only a couple seconds. i bet TS was rocking when both teams lined up!!!

One of the most exciting times that I can remeber at TS was when the fans/team noticed those FL punks disrespecting our house. Cool video clip of Chavis trying to hold back some of the players....

The place was ready to explode after that. It looked a lot different on video than it did from the student section. We thought it was a lot more heated than that

I guess. We should have used that the entire damn game to whip up on them.

Man, I miss the days I knew we could do that.

I just knew there was going to be an all out brawl. It was much more heated in live action. Videos miss the intensity! I am sure if the fans could have gotten on the field it would have been a free for all. Tiger Stadium was going wild.

should have been a flag on Fla....just another example of the refs sitting on their hands....
(not saying the refs won the game for Fla but we got a raw deal on several things)

I agree with Oyster, very heated when I saw it live. It sucked to see it in the first place but I did LOVE it when the entire Tiger team said "Uh uh" and ran to confront Florida. The entire stadium was cheering!

Not the greatest pic but one can see the "Braveheart" confrontation.

Yeah I saw it from the south endzone and it looked like you said more heated than the video shows. I guess from behind it looked better.

So flawdaboy do most Gator fans encourage this kind of stuff? If Arky does this at the Swamp Sat is it all well and good?

no and no.
at first i thought everyone was making a big fuss for nothing, because that's what happened, absolutely nothing. the only video/pics/proof i ever saw of this incident (or non-incident) the past several days was the youtube video someone in this thread posted. from that grainy video it's hard to tell what's going on down there. all i could see was florida huddled up pregame getting hyped, and as they break the huddle to head back to sideline/tunnel, lsu players see that they are near the eye and run up to confront UF. coaches/refs get inbetween both teams, they have a little stare off and everyone heads back, no harm, no foul.
from the video i posted on urban's website, you can clearly see spikes and company jumping up and down in a half-hype/half-taunting type of way, and they knew that they were somewhat close to the eye. so i don't like that, but at the same time i don't think it was malicious or horrible. if the whole team was stomping wildly directly on the eye i would understand and be pissed myself......but it really isn't a big deal in which everyone is making it out to be. i simply thought it was cool how both teams met at midfield pregame, and the video i posted gave a great first-person account of on the eye. and fwiw, if a team were to come into the swamp and stomp directly on the F at midfield, yes i would be highly pissed.

Not trying to stir things up and BTW congrats on the win. You've got a great QB, team, and program.
But UF did something similar in '07 so you'd think Urban would have said show some class during pre-game. So I wonder how "indirectly on your F" is ok?
SEC schools can do better than this.

It was definitely cool...reminded me of some of the Miami-FSU/FSU-Florida games in the 90s and early 2000s. I just wish we would have shown up when it counted. Props to UF though. They dominated the whole game.
