And people on this board and the SEC rant are talking pretty seriously about coaching changes? With a 16 million dollar buyout?

if it weren't for that buy out, I'd be all for a coaching change. But I mean, I am the guy who was fired up when I heard he was going to Michigan

How many other teams would trade their records for LSU record today? Stop the insanity.

I've not seen much of that on this board.

But check back if we finish 8-5 again.

Is there is a 16 million dollar buyout if Miles if fired? If so then Miles is the smartest man on the fricking planet.

I think it is that there are a large contingency of fans that are seeing some disturbing trends and to avoid going down that potential road, getting rid of the head before the fish starts stinking. He fixed the defense problem, now he has to fix the offense. recruting is in great shape. He has great numbers, we are 5-1 and top ten with our own destiny in our hands. Bama is the real next hurdle. if we lose to AU at home, there are serious issues if they have not made generious changes on the offense side.

They lose one game and people want his head. WOW!!! What percent of teams in the country have a better record that LSU at this point in the season?

We are just repeating last yr, except with much more dread on the offensive side, instead of the defense this time.

The fear is that we will soon not be ranked, except as the 10th worst offense in the nation with a 8-5, or 7-6 record.

Those that do not remember history are doomed to repeat it.

Who? A handful of nuts on a message board?

There is no real conversation about Miles losing his job.

It's not going to happen unless we lose 5 games again. That would mean losing to Auburn, Bama, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. Still then i think they would give Miles another year.

I just think the last two season were the first real turmoil/controversy/rebuilding years in the Miles era, so the microscopes are on full alert. He did the right thing by hiring Chavis, so I think he gets it, but he doesn't rush anything. So until the wheels on bus come completely undone, things will not change. At 5-1 with only loss to UF, hard to argue despite the numbers.
