Listening to Bobby Hebert comment on LSU's offense on radio. He said what I've been thinking-that LSU's offense doesn't do anything to confuse the defense. That if the linebackers are loading up for the run, LSU should use play action, or drag a tight end across the field behind them, etc.

we tried play action way too much saturday. it doesn't work when the QB drops back 15 yards, directly into the DE's.

Jordan was so deep the defensive end was able to use his speed and just go around Ciron in the second half.

I think that the problems run blocking are more due to play calling than the linemen

I think that the coaches wanted smaller guards to run the spread offense. We are getting pushed around in the trenches, we are not getting the push inside like we did in years past. We had big physical guards, the coaches took a gamble with this experiment and it's backfiring.

You want to commit your linebackers to the run-then Dixon will eat you alive on short routes

You're acting like we throw it to Dixon. He's so sure handed and good for 7-12 yards that we send one ball his way per game. Why not more?

"Do you think he should castigate his son in front of a national radio audience?" I have watched the game twice and I concentrated on T- Bobs blocking on a lot of plays and he is not the problem with the line. Ciron misses blocks and the right guard gets beat quite often. So why are people trying to single out the center? T-Bob is constantly making blocks downfield. He is not laying around on the field somewhere he is playing ball. He got called once for a false start. How many times did one of our Srs. line up off sides?

I wasn't implying anything about T-Bob's play, I was simply pointing out the fact that no man would bad mouth his own son on the radio even if he were playing badly. Bobby and I went to the same High School and played ball together, so I would want his son to succeed, not fail.

The problem is that nobody respects our deep threat,

And up until this year, in this decade, that is exactly what the SEC teams feared, LSU's deep threat. Sometime during the game, maybe twice or even three times, we would strike so fast, score batch points, and boom, the game was on.

Even at the end of the game. If we were within a touchdown with two minutes to go, everyone on both sides of the ball knew we could do some damage.

And now, we don't even try. Limp noodles. Sad, so sad.

Texas Tech is the master at confusing opposing defenses. Tech takes one and two star athletes, and, due to creative deception, competes every year with the 4-5 star schools. You gotta outhink-em if you can't out athlete-em.

Florida doesn't fool anybody. They justrun the ball up the gut and outtough people. Fooling people isnt a recipe for continued to success. Miles is closer to it then that.

Ciron Black wasn't being pushed around at LT. He was being RUN AROUND at LT. On one sack, he barely touched his man as the guy ran right around him and Jefferson had 0 chance on that play.

Doesn't matter how deep Jefferson is. Black was being run around like his feet were in cement.

Yep, and you can add Boise State in that mix who probably has less talent than Texas Tech does.

Thank you. I have no idea what the deal is with people and Hebert.
