Don Shula was just on. He was asked basically how to be a good coach for 33 years. Shula said that the main thing was adapting to the talent u have. If a guy is not good at something, don't ask him to do it. Either get someone who can or take it out of the playbook. He said to recognize indivdual talents and just play to your own strengths. It took him 33 years to learn what all the ranters know. How long will it take clm.

I'll just say that it is my belief that Miles needs to have very smart, creative, thoughtful coaches on his staff.

indeed, let me say that Miles, IMO, desperately needs these people more than some of the other big time coaches in college football.

Nice rebutle champs. Do u think we r doing this or is it something else. Are u the one ranter that thinks our offense is on the right track? It was advice from a great NFL coach and it s also a problem we have seen many times over the past few years. Something better change or addresses will.

I know what you're trying to say..and that's your opinion.

I think Miles is much smarter than people give him credit for.

Look at UF......there offense is nowhere near as good as last year......and Tebow is the reason it's as good as it is this year.

Urban is very fortunate to have an entire D back and Tebow or he would be getting bitched at for stuff this year as well.

They are very beatable.....(and Urban is just an example).

Bama is very fortunate to have a great QB coach.....or Saban would be hearing it too.

True, but a good oline will make most qbs look great. Saban has replaced a great oline with another good one.

Miles knows that our oline is not up to par. But, He refused to shuffle the line or run plays that may play to their strengths. I formation up the middle is not what this line excels at. Hints the op and toss it.

If we ask Jordan Jefferson to run the option 100 times, he will begin to improve at it.

That's how it works.

Shula knows nothing.

Shula had his guys in contracts for more than 4 years. The time table for improvement in college is far shorter. Which means faster results or scrapping it all together

Les Miles has nothing to do with it. Gary Crowton is the problem.

Also, true. Crowton works for Miles. Players play for Miles. The same goes for coaches. If his strengths arent being affective or used. Scrap it. Because, at the end of the day, It's Les's name on the product.
