I've been getting the Mexican Cokes (usually in bottles). The 500ml bottles were 1.75 last time I went to Los pienda's.

SAMS has them by the case. Around $20 or so.

Wait. They sell this stuff at big box stores? Or just SAMS?

Yeah, I thought the Coca Cola Corp. sort of frowned on these being distributed in the U.S.
I find it hard to believe they'd allow a huge distributor like Sams to sell the stuff.

I've bought them at HEB and Sam's in Houston, don't know about BR.

Sam's on Siegen has them.

Then, why the hell won't Coke let their local bottling companies make this stuff?

I don't have a SAMs membership.
Are these la tienditas getting stuff from SAMs and reselling?

Sam's does have them. They also have those other soft drinks made with real sugar that they sell in the latin grocery stores.

I would assume. Also, I thought they'd let you buy from sams even if you dont have one. You'll just pay more.
Worth a phone call @ least to check

No. Members only.
Sams on Seigan has been selling them for quite awhile.

I guess I am the only person who doesn't know what the big deal is. Coke doesn't use real sugar to make coca cola classic? Is there that much of a difference with these mexican cokes?

No, they use high fructose corn syrup.

Yes
I don't drink much Coke, but when I do I'll only drink Mexican Coke.

Because you haven't had one with real sugar in a while. Buy a can of each and test them side-by-side, it's a big difference.
Also, a side note, I recently discovered that the soft drinks in France are made with real sugar. I'll assume it's the same the rest of Europe as well.

Get one. $40 a year regular membership. Worth it for your cokes alone if you drink a lot. Sam's also has good meat usually.

The American Corn Lobby can go to hell!
