on finescum don't give us a chance, say we need a superhuman effort, their defense will eat us alive, they don't need tebow to beat us, etc. etc. etc. Guess we dont even need to play this game

Remember. We didn't have a chance against Georgia and came out as studs (outside of the red zone atleast).

Its funny LSU fans get offended by all of this talk but they do the same thing when talking about other teams "that don't have a chance". I don't think LSU has really done much to prove the doubters wrong. So who really gives a shite about what everyone is saying.

But what really gives you any evidence that our O is gonna do anything against Floridas vaunted D. Tebow or not they dont have to score many points to beat us

we have a pretty good idea since they returned all 11 starters and all 11 backups

On a similar note, Keith Olbermann does not like Bush.

not always going to play the same as the previous year. we have had a number of running backs that are proof of this.

i mean, damn, ricky jean was supposed to be amazing last year. remember?

yeah, I too was worried about this just yesterday...But, I have given it up...I am boycotting ESPN until Sunday morning. I even disabled DirecTV from recording the College Football Live series for the week. I don't want to hear about how horrible LSU is from Herbie and Muffberger anymore!!! Just can't wait for the game. I hope we come out and destroy Florida...Then I guess they will say, "Well, Teblow was not 100%, and LSU still has showed us nothing...this is the reason for us still putting USC ahead in our polls." "Hey Herbie and Muffberger, your polls mean jack shite!!!"

There is a reason that this game has been circled on the calendar by a lot of people for a long time. The last time UF came into town riding high, we set them back. There are too many intangibles to call this game a slam dunk. The old adage is still true, if you tell a lie often enough people will begin to believe it. We are not going to roll over and hand this game to the gators. Our guys are going to leave all on the field.

I mean, Florida did lose five games in 2007. Not sure how big of a high they were riding in on, seeing how they'd already lost at home to Auburn.

Ah, this all reminds me of 1997 when Florida came strolling in to Death Valley as #1 and Richard Condon said "If LSU beats Florida, I'll shave my head..." parenthetically quoting him there, of course. Well, we all know what happened then, and my friends, there is a feeling in the air once again - it is palpable.

You are correct. I just remember that their was a lot of expectation around this game. And UF was favored, weren't they? I think it was a surprise among the major sports medea for LSU to win the game. That's all.

it's quite possible we get shut down for the most part and still put a decent total up due to the playmakers on O, D and ST...that may not be enough against FL, but you never know

I love it. Nobody is picking us. We got lucky to win every game.If we win this game they will make more excuses. Lets just keep winning. And screw all the "experts".
