We'll lose Coleman, Riley, and Cutrera after this season. Sheppard is the only returning linebacker with significant experience.

What's the starting linebacker corp gonna look like next year?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Francois in Coleman's role

Minter and T. Jones may make some noise as well.

Yep, I remember hearing a lot of preseason chatter about Minter at the Mike linebacker. Supposedly, he brings the wood.

They better hit the weight room first. I know they'll gain weight, but all in all....I don't think they'll be playing until about their Soph. years, IMO.

I dont see T Jones making noise yet. He needs to add some weight.

Minter will not pass up Kelvin. Kelvin will be a SR with alot of experience. I say minter is 2nd string MLB. I think hes gonna be a good one though.

Looking at Rivals.com yesterday and Luc is the only big-time LB recruit that had us listed, that I can remember. What gives? Isn't Chavis supposed to be a LB specialist? Sure hope we are able to pick up a couple of big-time LB's, like stated above, we are going to need them next year.

Mingo and Jones needs to add a good bit of weight. Minter will get a good bit of playing time the coaches have liked what they have seen so far.

Well Sheppard will start, obviously, and if his play so far this season is any indication, he should be pretty good.

Baker will also probably start, and I guess Francois?

I'm not sure how much we can expect out of Kyle Prater, and hopefully Lamin Barrow, Bark Mingo, and Taj Jones are physically ready to play next year. Kevin Minter should be competing hard for PT next year, he's the only frosh LB who has an SEC body right now.

Also, does Justin Maclin compete for time, or does he go straight to DE?
