that a backup quarter back gets his first start in Tigers Stadium AT NIGHT and gets a win?

Brantley is legit. He'll be tougher to game plan against than Tebow.

It would be better to have a battered up Tebow than the backup. Rough him up , but don't knock Tebow out of the game. Pressure him and hit him the whole game.

Laugh all you want but he is supposedly a better passer than Tebow and there isn't very much tape on him. At least with Tebow we've seen everything he does.

Yes, I KNOW he is legit!! He broke all of Tebows High School Records but he still has NOT started a college game....HUGE difference. But we have like 25 or 30 consecutive home wins at night. Then you put someone in on the road in this environment?????

UF's D is what win's the game for UF. Not Brantley. UF is a run first, throw second team.

Dude, I will take them passing on us ALL night! It is the 4+ yards that Tebow gets every time he runs the ball. This kid comes in and beats us at home AT NIGHT in his FIRST start????? No way!

It ain't ideal, but he'll do fine. How many points does UF have to score to win? That's the question.

All the pressure will be on LSU's anemic offense.

He's not a QB, but two words, Shaun Alexander....

that's how easy it could be.

So, you would rather play a quarterback who has 2 Nat'l Championships and 1 Heisman. Many people think Tebow could go down as the greatest college football player ever. We already know he is a great leader and is somewhat "William Wallace" like. I'd rather take my chances against a quarterback who is starting his first game ever in one of the most hostile environments in all of college football.

Here's a difference to be considered. With Tebow in the lineup UF still has a capable backup in the wings should TT be injured. With Brantley, they're one hit away from having to win the game with a third stringer.

UF is better served if Tebow is cleared to play from that perspective alone.

then you guys are in trouble. a major reason for your success running the ball in the threat that tebow presents in the running game. how he sells the fakes and his running threat is what makes your running game very good. without tebow, your run game is much more average as you don't have a powerback.
