Gotta go with Jaleo... my favorite Spanish restaurant. It's near the Shakespeare Theater.

The Inn at Little Washington if you can get in as well as 1789,both are excellent IMO.

Depends on what you're looking for and what part of town. Pretty much anywhere has something worth checking out, DC is great for foodies.
