I agree. Our base offense should be pistol/shotgun with Shep lined up next to JJ at TB. He could even take direct snaps from there.

The DE is supposed to be unblocked on that play. That is who Jefferson is reading. Its a read option play.

I have no doubt that Coach Miles listens to the fans. Because they threw deep against ULL like 6 times. None of them worked and one was an INT, but people had been bitchin' about not throwing it deep. So my guess is, we will se a lot of Sheppard on Saturday.
Funny thing I read on DD's website yesterday. He wrote that two e-mails he got stated that if he picked LSU to win Saturday, they would never read his site again.

He is not a qb, and the coaches know that, he is an athlete. He is not the answer, at least not at qb, IMO.

Shep needs to touch the ball 12 times a game.. some how....
Every time he gets it, he makes solid yardage.
This is the biggest game of the year, time to unleash his talent...It's why we wanted him at LSU right?
