you will see a completely new defense Saturday and the oline will start to gel

Feel free to bump this if I am proved wrong, I will eat crow.

This team will improve as the season goes on just like 2001.

I feel you might be right...however, on the 6-0 thing, would you like any side orders wit da krow?

Naw! Even rantards call out negatigers only. We all want/hope/wish what you expect. If it doesn't work .. everyone knows that you publicly expressed a wish that most on this board do.

I just don't think its a matter of our OL "gelling" for them to be effective. Its more of a size and philosophy problem

But Saban was here then.

Dang you and your Saban nut sucking.

2001 we were the luckiest 3 loss team to win a division, win conference title

9/11 happened and Auburn played us later in the year

Auburn had 3 chances to win 1 game to clinch the title

Then Davey to Reed happened

Saban reaped benefit of that fortunate turn of events. Now give him credit when it is due. But don't buy your self Saban knee pads.

We need to be 5-0 playing Fl. A loss against Ga. and then to Fl. would put us in a tailspin we might not recover from. A win against Ga. and hopefully not, a loss to Fl., we are still in good shape to get to the SECCG. We need a damn strong win against Ga.

I told my brother-in-law (pre-season) that we would be undefeated. I felt our defense would be MUCH improved and I felt JJ would progress enough to allow this to happen.

At this point, our defense is slightly above average, in my opinion. I do think they are improving in some areas but after watching Miss State run the ball against us, I don't think our defense has "arrived". I also don't think anyone will disagree that our running game is anything other than pathetic, at least so far.

With that said, GEAUX Tigers!!! Love 'em, even if I don't think we will be undefeated. We are, however, 4-0.

My honest thoughts (it has nothing to do with us playing you in 2 weeks) before the season started is that LSU is another year away yet to start being a lot tougher and harder to beat. It has to do with the amount of youth on your team.

I am really hoping you guys do not lose to the mutts and then we will face a fired up team. UGA is defensively challenged..but has offense.

To be perfectly honest...we will be fired up when we play you at night on prime time tv...but its the damn MSUs, Arkies and USCes etc etc that worry me with an upset when we arent playing at 110% of our emotional level. Im sure your game saturday against MSU was like that somewhat. We did come out with fire in our eyes against UK...we need to do that a lot more.

Good luck between the hedges.

How dare you come on this site posting non-negative statements. You're not a real fan unless you're bitching about something.

Say what you want about LSU, but we are one of the few top 10 teams to avoid an upset so far. Our #4 ranking is pretty accurate, IMHO.
