Don't agree with the first part, but do agree with the second.

If they are over rated, who do you put in their place, a team with one or two losses? The won-loss record is the primary rating parameter. If this was done, would they NOT be overrated?

So far LSU has had the wherewithal to find ways to win where other teams have faltered. This makes them a higher rated team at the present time, and carries a lot of weight, regarless of popular opinion. You have to give them credit for that.

those guys are always on LSU's case, but until Les and Co. develops that killer instinct and start kicking arse, it will always be this way.

GABlueDog,

If we beat UGA they will say UGA was not worthy and LSU is still overrated.

Now if we beat UGA and Florida they will jump on our bandwagon till Bamatime.

It must have taken hours for him to come up with that brilliant assessment.

Auburn, Houston, USC, Boise State, or Oklahoma

They'd all beat LSU right now. Maybe not USC.

How much would you bet and at what spread?

AU beat WV and MissSt (with ease). Houston beat OkState and TT. Boise beat Oregon. USC beat OhioState. OK hasnt beat anyone yet, but is beating up on creampuffs at least. All those wins are at least as impressive as any of LSU's.

OK now let's compare losses. Only Houston and Auburn are in the convo w/ LSU.

Being 4 and 0 is what LSU has shown. Loosing to a team like Iowa, is what other so called deservingly high ranked teams with good stats have done.

If we want to rank teams on statistics, then we need to change the whole rating system, because that is what we are basically arguing here.
