Well it's either that or the farm report. At 9:21 a.m.
Just kidding! Lived in Santa Monica but it was the during the Hallman era. Never really needed to worry about TV.

I'm out here in Albuquerque and I'll tell ya in the past five to ten years LSU has started making a name for itself. Before the last two NC's not many people had heard, or knew of, LSU. Unless we're talking about the most ardent of college football fans. Now, even so/so college football fans know about LSU. And being that I'm here in the desert, that's a good thing. This is great news for recruiting and such. P.S... Quite a lot of us New Mexicans are from CA and the LA area specifically. They come here in droves trying to escape the nightmare of urban sprawl they created.

It's on in Chicago too as was the Bama N Tx St game. ESPN must have sold 11:20 game package pretty cheap. The Big Ten Network taking most of their games off broadcast tv has created an exposure opportunity. Since these aren't the sexiest games, I'm not sure how they'll do ratings wise, but having 2 games (this along with CBS) a week on air helps the SEC.
