After week 2, with the injuries to our running backs, and Reggie's enabilities. Does anyone besides me think we should resign Deuce? Afterall, last I heard he was feeling 100% and doesn't have to serve his suspention untill next year.

Absolutely not. We dont need him. If PT and Bell are out, we would bring PJ Hill up from the practice squad.

About as realistic as signing Willie Roaf after Jammal Brown went down.

You're living in the past. Deuce won't ever be the back he was. Average lifespan of an NFL back is 4 years because it takes such a toll on your body.

If Bell and PT are out for more than a week, and Hamilton is dinged, then I'd consider it

PT's emergence wasn't the sole reason they cut Deuce. Dude's knees are filled with grape jelly.

Deuce's release was a long time in the making. When last season started they (Saints AND Deuce) knew that it was the end of the line for him in NO. If you didn't know then, you had to know when they made sure to get him that last TD in the Dome to break the Saints record.

His exit was handled perfectly on both sides, and I don't think either the Saints or Deuce are interested in getting back together.

Once you leave, you can never go back home.

Deuce is too busy planning and building his revolutionary upscale restaurant / driving range

what a fricking idiot. if deuce wants to piss away the rest of his money he should just donate it to a charity.
