Now that so many other teams are building stadiums that seat well over 100,000, do you think we will ever connect the two upper decks? With all the money being made in football, I can see LSU building a new stadium that is state of the art. Although i would not want to see this happen.

yeah but probably not for 10 years or so. Alleva has said he wants to spruce up TS first, particularly the North End.

Connecting the upper decks would add thousands of new shitty seats. The upper deck seats are horrible but at least they arent in the end zone. I really dont know if LSU would fill up that many more seats except for a select few games.

We'll connect the upper decks right around the same time you post something worth a shite.

I like the roofs that UW has. The crowd noise just resonates off those...May not be a popular choice, but I wouldn't mind adding something like that if possible.

This. Contrary to popular belief, the "demand" for tickets is not as high as you think.

Michigan
Ohio State
Penn State
Tennessee
Texas

Those are the only five that seat over 100k off the top of my head.

Connecting the NEZ would frick up too many things: (new plaza they are building, mike's habitat, too close to the PMAC, etc.)

They'd probably sell the tickets, but the stadium is already too empty. Basically, they would turn profit eventually, but it would be an eye sore to see so many open seats for all but two games a year.

The upper deck seats aren't shitty seats by any means. I sat in the gold seats for the first time this past weekend and you can't really see shite unless you're about 25 or more rows up. Anything below that and you can't really see much. I have never missed a play from my regular seats in the EU. To me the best seats in the entire stadium would be the gold chair-backs in the EU.

They're just way too high for my taste. True, you can see everything, but it's all so far away. Quiet up there too.

I dont know how that would look, but it would be badass to make the stadium louder.

To each his own I guess. However, the crowd that was around us sucked complete arse. No one into the game, most were texting or some shite, and just about EVERYONE within a 3 row radius left as soon as we made it 24-3. As far as quiet, you've been in the wrong section.

But, you're kidding yourself if you think anyone below really hears you, though.

you can't tell me that if those roughly 5 schools with 100,000+ are filling up the stadium, that tiger stadium can't? please. especially texas and alabama's new addition. there should be an incentive for season ticket holders to use every single ticket that they get. it makes me sick that they let them go to waste sometimes, but i think there are ways around having empty seats.

Yeah I saw on the fourth row of the WU last year, and those were some good seats, but the environment is much more laid back than the my south endzone seats.

Well then I must be doing something wrong, because if there's no demand for tickets, why the hell am I still on the waiting list with no tickets. There's a difference between selling tickets and filling up the stadium. The tickets will be sold, other than the ones schools return, before the season even starts, as long as we keep up with the winning.

Yeah, the corner of SEZ on the west side would be one of the few seats I think I'd move to. It's kind of hard to beat where we sit though. We know everyone around us, we get the away fans a few rows from us and that can be some fun shite when it's a big game, plus we have the benefit of seeing the entire field. I think the only way we ever make the move is if one of the doctors has a breakthrough or finds some cure and LSU gives them a suite. :crossesfingers:
