So i go to UL-L....

and all the kids are giddy with anticipation for the game this weekend. i get crap for wearing my LSU stuff all the time, and people are constantly telling me that this is the year UL of L will beat LSU. idk what to say to these guys, i can only shake my head. they're getting on my nerves! 
they pull for every team we play every week. i can't wait until the game this week

I had a teacher walk up to me the first day of class, take my LSU hat off and turn it around. He then proceeded to give me the directions to LSU and said to go there if I wanted to wear that stuff in his class.

I grew up a huge LSU fan, it's an hour and a half away from where im from, and i'm not gonna tell you my personal reasons for not going.
but i plan on attending grad school there one day

gotcha. no offense intended, but surely you can see where its kind of a douche move to wear the hat of the school your team is playing around campus.
i'm in no way a ull fan (i don't know anything about them), but its jmo.

none taken, i definetly see, if i went to a school i loved and saw someone wearing different school colors it would upset me too. its a goal of mine to go there for grad school after i work a few years

And you just took it?
If someone in Hammond would ever do something like that when I wear LSU gear, there's gonna be problems.
1) It's not like you don't have the option to go to LSU. In my case, SLU scholarships paid better, there's less traffic, and the classes are smaller. I'm sure most ULL students are at their school of choice.
2) Dunno the situation at ULL, but you can't find a nice SLU shirt for under $25. Either lower the price or start winning, then I'll buy some stuff.

I would expect and go along with the chiding if I were you. Let them have their moment -- they'll get walloped anyway.
The pulling for every team LSU plays bit is a joke on their part, though. Big part of the reason why they are who they are.

thats all i can do, it makes me sick to hear stupid people every week say roll tide, go hogs, go bulldogs, when they have nothing but hate for LSU and hope that they lose. one girl who is well connected is looking for florida tickets so she can go pull for the gators
