LSU and Mississippi State will kick off at 11:21 a.m. on Sept. 26 and be televised on WAFB (Cox Cable channel 7), the SEC announced Monday.
The game at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field in Starkville, Miss., will be the Tigers first on the ESPN’s SEC package. The game will be preceded by ESPN’s pre-game show, hosted by Rob Stone and Matt Stinchcomb.
The Tigers have beaten the Bulldogs nine straight times and have won 16 of the last 17 meetings.
LSU last appeared in the SEC’s early game on Sept. 30, 2006, when the Tigers entertained State and won 48-17. LSU and Tulane kicked off at 11 a.m. at the Superdome on Sept. 29, 2007.

Hopefully our team isn't sleepy at that hour.
Granted, it appears that the team was sleepwalking through the Vandy and UW games, so perhaps it won't really matter.

At least it's not an 11:21 home game...

trap game?
The MSU offense actually looks legitimate for the first time in six or seven years.
(Nonetheless, of course LSU shouldn't lose the game.)

this is actually great. Hell, I'm leaving right after the game and driving back to B.R. rather than stay in that town any longer than I have to.
I'll get to listen to college football the whole way home!

Just curious if these SEC Network games are on ESPN 360?? Didn't check to see if week 1 and 2 games were, but I assume it would be!

so if we don't blow them out, this will serve as a great excuse.

guess that is as good a game as any to have an early kickoff
