When will we ever see another LSU running back who runs as hard as Cecil Collings did?

Mike Ford might. But I do remember somebody by the name of Joseph Addai who ran pretty damn violently.

when we quit running this dumb spread offense and run a pro offense similar to Miami's or USC's offense.

+1. FWIW CC did not run harder than Hester, though he had more speed. Scott is not far
behind them either. Toefield was also a very hard runner prior to the knee blowout.

The spread isn't dumb and to be honest... our offense is more pro style than spread anyways so you are incorrect sir. The only time I remember having a true spread is the later part of 07 and our offense was putting up alot of points.

Defintely true. Joe ran inside like a much larger back (Hester, Scott, Toefield) would be expected to do.

I remember one year Addai single-handedly won us the game in the 4th quarter against Florida. He couldn't be stopped and ran with such menace, it was truly a sight to see.

i enjoyed those highlights sabantooth. mad running....bouncing off defenders, never quit pumping those legs, and he painted his blockers sides he skinned past them so close.
