I noticed this as well...looks like the wal-marks is trying to give the illusion of deep cost savings....they remodeled my local store, took out all of the premium stuff a replaced it with overpriced value brands....

Thats easy cut the competitions throat by under cutting their prices. Then when you drive them out of business, you basically control the market.

i stopped shopping at wal mart a year ago .. i go to hi nabor and ralph's market (the local guys that pay local taxes) and have not noticed a whole lot of difference between them and what i was paying for shite at wal mart ... plus, i don't have to deal with the WIC card carrying, muffin top, tatted out trailer trash crowd either ..
