Then start talking like you do.

And your mentioning of Arkansas and Kentucky fails. Why? Because we played six overtimes in those games.

They won the game. I don't mind giving up yards to a top notch team , BUT giving up 478 yards in the 1st game against a TEAM that is OK but not great is NOT GOOD!!!! LSU needs to put the SMACK down on WASH!! NOT a TOP TEAM PERFORMANCE TO ME!!!!!

rushing defense: 2nd
passing defense: 4th
total defense: 1st
scoring defense: 2nd

national championship

You are complaining about a defense in a year when said defense was #1 and we won a national championship.

I don't really need to say anything else. You should yield and save yourself further embarrassment.

totally agree, but I was just sayin that Pelini's D was not all that it was cracked up to be, however it was better than the mess last year and the disaster I saw Sat nite, Chief has to step up his game.

those stats you are referrin to are inflated because of the App States and MTSU's they dominated defensively, the top Div 1 schools they faced, they didn't shutdown nobody. and I don't know what I'm talkin about, you are a troll.

his D generally dominated shite opponents more than it should have and wasn't too hot against our big opponents

part of our defensive rankings was due to our #7-ranked time of possession ranking that year

MSU: 113
VT: 100
AU: 97
MTSU: 96
OM: 91
LTech: 86
USC: 77
Bama: 75
OSU: 62
Tulane: 59

so 10/14 of our opponents were in the bottom half of the total offensive rankings

6/14 were in the bottom 1/3 of total offensive rankings

and we were #7 in TOP. we held the ball for 32/48 minutes

LSU beat Florida in that game and held Tebow and the Gator offense to 24 points...which is less than we held the Washington Husky offense
