So here's a question who say that the Boise State player deserved to get hit, etc. What is an appropriate punishment for Blount?

The bitch of the whole situation is the 5-10 other Boise players who watched their boy go down, and didn't try to get at Blount. That shite happens in Baseball or Hockey and that guys teammates jump Blount

I say suspension from games, but given his history, he should probably be off the team.
Just because I think he deserved to get hit, doesn't mean I think it was the right move or that he should have done it. I think those two trains of thought can co-exist.

And then all of them get suspended and the team loses games they shouldn't because they are missing key players. Props to the Boise players (and the coaches) for restraining themselves in this situation. Now, the only villain is Blount.
