All of the sudden it might be the 2nd or 3rd best division in football, even with the Lions being terrible.

NFC south is unstoppable now that the Saints will go 23-0!

The NFC East is better but that may be it. The AFC North has two REALLY good teams, but the other two are nothing special. NFC and AFC South aren't bad either but both of those divisions have some question mark teams.

The NFC and AFC South are better as well as the NFC East imo.

The AFC South isn't better IMO. NFC South could be. That division is just always impossible to predict.

Indy>Minnesota
Tennessee>Green Bay
Houston<Chicago
Jax>Detroit

3/4 imo in the South's favor

I don't even know if Minnesota is better than Green Bay. But fine.

Minnesota and Indy is basically a toss up.
Green Bay is better than Tennessee. Green Bay is going to be good this year.
Chicago is better than Houston.
And yea Jacksonville is better than Detroit.

So I would say 2-1-1, but the top 3 in the NFC North overall are better than the top 3 in the AFC South.

Tennessee went 4-0 against the NFC North last year. Houston went 3-1 against the NFC North last year. Indy went 2-2. Jacksonville went 2-2 and only won 5 games total. Just saying...Don't feel like arguing about our opinions right now though.

Yea well the NFC north sucked last year. I'm talking about how all of the sudden the NFC North is really good this year. Bears got better, Packers got better. The Vikings should be better I think.

While I realize the teams all improved, they aren't the only ones. People are really jumping on the Green Bay bandwagon for no apparent reason.

Their defense hasn't shown they are improved from last season, which turned out to be their achilles heal. People are claiming a 6-10 team from last year is awesome this year based on preseason. That is stupid.

Chicago does NOT have the defense they did in 2006. Their defense lost a huge step following that year and was pretty average last year. They have a much improved offense with Cutler, but their defense has gotten worse. So I am not sure everyone jumping all over them.

Sure Minnesota improves with Favre for about the first half of the season, but give me a break. Favre is not some savior that is going to magically turn them into a better team than last year. They will likely be improved, but how much is a big question.

AFC South and NFC East are definitely better.

NFC South could be comparable. Atlanta is improved. New Orleans is definitely improved, while Tampa Bay has taken a step back. Carolina will be the question mark. They may be better or worse, and no one really knows. If Carolina is as good as last year, then the NFC South will be better.

Overall, I'd put the North at 4th right now just behind the NFC South, which at least proved it with all teams having non-losing records with 3 out of 4 with 9 wins or more.

The NFC North had ONE team with a winning record last year. Big difference.

Their offense should be better, but they still have some pretty big holes on defense

The defense is going to be pretty much horrible.
