I made red beans and rice last night using only Manda products because of this thread. I used 1lb of tasso, and 1lb of Andouille. I have to be honest with you, it was one of the best pots of red beans and rice I've ever made. The tasso, IMO was the star. It was much softer than savoie's, richards, etc. and had MUCH more flavor. It added a great new note to my pot. The sausage did have a little bit of gristle in it, but not more than any other smaller batch brand. It was tender, juicy and flavorful. I will definitely use them again. As for on the grill, I'm not sure, but for a good pot of RB&R - best yet.
