I'm from Boston Massachusetts where true passion for college football doesn't exist. I see the rest of the country's excitement and I want to fall in love with the sport. I've heard from several sources that LSU has the best tailgating and tradition in the country. I need to see and taste this first hand. I've already bought plane tickets and a hotel for me and a college buddy to see this year's Florida game. Now I just need to find 2 tickets. I tried going on the season tickets waiting list to get them but came up empty handed. I've never been this excited for a sporting event. Can someone help two northerners looking to fall in love with LSU? We always have Redsox tickets to exchange.

On a side note, we love Big Baby in Boston!!!!

You may have to look into stubhub, ticketcity...etc etc for tickets. LSU/Florida tickets are going to be a hard find.

Trust me, I'm looking too.

you got hotel rooms before tickets for the biggest game of the year?

Would you recommend a Tiger fan book airfare and hotel rooms before buying tickets to a Yankees-Red Sox ALCS game?

Not taking applications at this point, and it's a long waiting list. Unless you're born into it, or do/have paid tuition, you might be stuck. I'll send a note to the good folks at ULL. I'm guessing they have plenty of openings.

An October trade for tickets at Fenway for Tiger Stadium -- this sounds like the beginning of a Sports Illustrated article to me.

despite what people on here say, do NOT worry about already having a hotel and tickets. If worse comes to worse, you will have to buy from someone selling them on gameday, but they will be there if you are willing to pay.

Definitely check stubhub if you want peace of mind. When it gets closer to the florida game come post again and you will likely get 10+ tailgate invites and all kinds of food, drink, and music ideas.

The pre-game atmosphere and tailgating is worth the trip. Even if you can't get tickets, you can go to a bar and enjoy the game on TV.

If you want to make some tailgating friends, bring your own boudin and have someone grill it up for you and them.

Buy from an online scalper. Barring a total meltdown you will have the time of your life.

Ha....nope I don't know him but seems like we have similar ideas. I know its going to be a tough ticket but I wanted to see the best of the best when it comes to LSU games and tailgating.

"Now I just need to find 2 tickets"

if we get into that game undefeated, that game will be the toughest ticket in tiger stadium history

You will find them. If by chance you don't you will have a great time with the 50K or so fans outside the stadium who also don't have tickets.
