I was thinking of renting. So you suggest getting it, huh?

Not sure which movie you were watching. I thought this thing was a jumbled up mess.

It's not the greatest movie of all time, but I really love the manipulation "game" part of the whole movie. It'll make you think, and I like those kind of movies.

Not to mention I love movies with a twist at the end.

This was a little too twisty just for the sake of being twisty.

Admittedly, I might have had a few too may tasty beverages before watching it.

Went it was out in theaters, my husband & I went see it. It was a choice of it and something else that didn't interest me. I thought it would be something he would like as it involved espionage & that James Bond type world.

Julia Roberts & Clive Owens have great on screen chemistry. The acting is very well. However, the story isn't great. Think someone else called it a jumbled mess. Was very disappointed. Hard to follow. I wouldn't waste my money renting.

I think to the "casual" eye it definitely could be seen as a jumbled mess. But I love movies that make you think, and this movie certainly did that ... and I think that was their intention ... the whole "dual agent" thing and the always guessing who can be trusted and who cannot.

How do you discern between a movie that is intentionally incoherent and a movie that just sucks?

We watched this a couple of nights ago as well. The only problem we had with it was we had to pause it a couple of times and be sure what part of the timeline we were in. They were good about telling you when it went back in time, but it wasn't always clear when it was in the present. The Bahamas stuff for example was one of those times.

Overall we liked it and found it worth a rental.

Yeah, I think you are giving the writer and director far more credit than is due.

Coleman Francis is entirely misunderstood.

I was disappointed by this one. Wasn't all that funny or entertaining.

It was okay to me, worth a watch. I love that type of intriguing story but it did go overboard. It jumbled it up so much that I started to not care into the middle act. Instead of an oh wow with the final kicker it was more like so what?
