that is if you choose to believe this...

quote:

LSU is 19-1 in home games under the lights the last four years, and every single contest at Tiger Stadium this year will be played at night.

This is a quote taken from the following article ranking the SEC. Does this guy have some sort of insight into LSU's schedule or what? Considering his rankings & reasonings, probably not. LINK

G E A U X T I G E R S!!!
ps: if this is germans....deal with it!

It usually starts this way then CBS picks up the game during the season.

I'm sure Lundquist and Danielson are salivating over which 3-4 day games they want right now.

I hope the Florida game is at night. Actually the Gumps play Ole Piss that day so maybe it will be the late game of a CBS doubleheader.

Nationally televised games are GREAT for the program.

Man, I hope you're right, or mostly right. In an otherwise lackluster and frustrating year last year, not having one significant game at night in TS was just weird and way away from the norm. I understand it is mostly a money thing. Hopefully the ESPN deal will help with this problem. KC.

right now, all games are scheduled for 7......TV may screw that up though.

ESPN has 1st 2 home games on at 6. I think FL will be night game on CBS and AU is usually night game on ESPN. To me the only toss up will be Arky, which someone already said has been picked up for night by ESPN.

If you actually think that playing at night vs day really makes that much difference in the outcome of the game then you're an idiot. Sure the fans enjoy it more, but thats it.

Our night game record is so good recently bc most of our tough games have been moved up to earlier starts. Last year's night games at TS where Tulane, North Texas, MSU, and Troy (and we almost lost to Troy)

Disagree....our night game stats have always been better, not just recently. Its the tradition the fans like. You always hear sports commentators talk of the "aura" of TS at night. That my friend is a true advantage whether you believe in it or not.

Most Tiger fans are also blithering idiots as well....especially if they don't think money outweighs tradition no matter what

If most means 50% +1 then there must be less than 184.000 LSU fans in your opinion.

The only people who are adamant about night games are those who go to all of the home games. I am an LSU fan in NC and make it to 1 game (often an away game) a year. It's all I can do, so I would rather the game be on TV and during the day than not on TV at all. In a perfect world they would all be on TV and at night, but at the end of the day I just want to be able to see it. I'm sure the thousands of Tiger fans around the world that don't make the games agree with me.
