yeah, i jumped on the slaton bandwagon early last year and it paid off. I'm afraid that might be playing into my decision and causing me to be biased. But it looks like most people would take slaton over Gore. Thanks for the opinions!

Thank you too, tiger6777. your opinion is always appreciated

why don't you put those 3 guys in the "random" pick generator and see what you get.

My guess is:
1)bamaatlsu
2)pcb
3)Gore
4)Jacobs
5)Slaton
...

Plugged them into the draft dominator with standard rules, 0 points per reception:

RB9-Gore
RB12-Slaton
RB13-Jacobs

JJ, do you really use this? I have never paid for these types of rankings. I do my own. I'm in a fairly sophisticated league. What's your thought?

I use them as a tool, but not the end all be all. If I disagree strongly I'll overlook someone they have slated higher. For example, not a fan of V Jackson at where they had him so I passed when I could've taken him. They use the X factor for their rankings and I DO trust those rankings as gospel.

Also I use them because I can completely customize the rules to my league. Also if you use myfantasyleague.com, you can plug in your league's # and it will automatically set up your cheatsheets for YOUR league. If you just play standard, no need. If you play with a lot of different rules, for example 1 league I'm in is 2 PPR, then it's a huge help.

JJ, I had VJ last year and he was awesome. He was a steal last year, and is probably overrated this year.

Our league has fairly standard scoring, so I probably don't need anything beyond standard cheat sheets. I study 'em pretty close and look at average draft position to judge when I'll be able to get value.

We don't get our draft position until early September (the 2nd, I think) and then we draft the day before the first game (the 9th), so I've got plenty of time to keep crunching the numbers and picking up pointers between now and then.

Go look @ the Texans Schedule.

Slaton buy a mile.

I plan on taking him 4th overall FWIW.

You do know that Gore plays in the weakest division right?

This is our fantasy bowl week. Thinking ahead, I may have to grab Coffee in the later rounds. No way Gore lasts all year and I heard Detroit signed a QB or two, but not that they acquired an entirely new D.
