Kraft Roasted Red Pepper Italian with Parmesan is on of the best oil & vinegar dressings I've had in a while.

have to admit heard kaare johnson pimpin Cousins Creole Tomato salad dressing the other day.

Gave it a shot, was frankly incredible, kinda expensive for my budget but was well worth it, will continue to buy it actually

I couldn't tell you. I stopped buying dressings in the bottle a couple years back and make my own.

My reliable recipe that I use on a regular basis:

1 part rice wine vinegar
1 part soy sauce
1 part sugar (or OJ or fruit)
3 parts extra virgin olive oil

Use immersion blender to mix first 3 ingredients and then drizzle in the oil so it won't separate as much. I sometimes make a variation of this where I put 3 parts OJ and 1 part EVOO.

Another fav is a Cilantro Lime vinaigrette, but I don't have a set recipe for that one.

Bottled dressing tastes like crap.

I make quantities and keep in the fridge of French wine, bleu cheese vinegarette, creamy blue with asparagus, basil & roasted red pepper, lime & dill when dill is growing. Occasionally a roasted garlic and remoulade sauce makes a good dressing too.

I keep them in squeeze bottles, we have a salad every night in the summer, so they don't last very long.

I also keep a bottle of ranch on hand in case we have someone under 12 eating with us.

Me and the hubby dip french bread in it. We'll eat a whole loaf of it just dipped in this stuff.

My son would sit there and eat half the jar w3ith celery if I let him..

I'm like whoaaa thats stuff kinda pricey son..

Met the lady from Covington that makes it. Seemed like good people. She was sampling the stuff at Albertson's a year ago or so.. I bet she makes a fortune with the stuff.
I'd rather support someone local than buy some national brand anyday.. when it's as good as this it's a given

Does anyone know if they sell this on the coast? I would love to try it.

I usually just get some type of Newman's salad dressing if I don't make my own.

I make some of my own, but Cousin's Creole Tomato is outstanding. It's especially good on boiled shrimp and crabmeat or just on a spoon.

I also like Mrs. Talbot's Apple Vinaigrette. Light and tasty.

Jack and Allison Cousins are incredible people and their story is phenomenal. The success couldn't have happened to two better people...or at a better time. Go to their website and read the story.

I used to live in Mandeville and I would go to the market every Saturday and see Jack out there selling his dressings and salsa. I'm so glad they "made it" big.

picked up some cousins creole tomato on the way home. I must say it is unbelievable. I like mayo based sauces/dressings so it to me is close to perfect.

I can almost eat this stuff by itself.

Try it on a roast beef poboy. I think it's good on much more than just salads.
